What it is
Tribe Wild Harvested Ashitaba Herbal Tea is a caffeine free herbal tea made from one hundred percent wild harvested Ashitaba (Angelica keiskei) leaf. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
How it helps
Ashitaba is endemic to Hachijō, an island in the Izu archipelago, a moist subtropical region located to the south of Japan. In the days of the Edo period, natives of Hachijō Island were reportedly always in the pink of health. They attributed their longevity to Ashitaba, which became known as the "Longevity Herb".
Today, this unique plant is regarded as a treasure and affectionately referred to as the "King of Vegetables" on Hachijō Island.
Ashitaba is a rich source of essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and its sap contains chalcone.
