Our most extensive IgG test, useful for clients who are suffering from consistent, multiple or severe reactions to food. It uses FoodPrint, a immunoassay microarray technology, to identify food-specific IgG antibodies to over 200 different foods. This gives accurate information that can be used to adjust diets and improve a number of health conditions.
Please note, if you order multiple blood tests, you will need to take a blood sample for each test. We will aim to streamline this in due course.
Essential information
- Use this guide to get a successful sample. Follow this essential advice to ensure your sample is viable for analysis
- To give you and your clients complete confidence in a valid sample, we recommend a blood draw. Contact us for phlebotomy services
- This test is recommended for those who are over the age of 18. For anyone under 18, we recommend a blood draw. Contact us for phlebotomy services

Please also note that this test is not available to customers in Northern Ireland.
Guidelines before taking the test:
-
Do not perform the test if you are pregnant or taking immunosuppressant drugs. Do not discontinue medications in order to take the test
-
Eat a normal diet before the test, and ensure you’re well-hydrated before taking your blood sample
-
If there’s a food that you’ve avoided for more than 3 months but which you would like tested (e.g. almond), reintroduce that food. Eat one portion of the food daily for a week before taking the test. Do NOT eat anything to which you have a known allergy.
-
Make sure you’re well hydrated before you take your blood sample.
Please note:
-
The larger sample transport tube containing the absorbent cotton pad should NOT be used for blood collection.
-
If the blood flow stops before the blood collection tube is full, you may need to use the second safety lancet to make another puncture on a different finger.
