Find out if your stress levels are affecting your health with an easy, at-home adrenal fatigue test.
What is adrenal fatigue?
Stress can be measured by the hormone cortisol—which is produced and managed by the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, or HPA axis.
While some stress is necessary (cortisol gets us up in the morning!), we can run into problems when we have more stress than our body can handle.
That’s when adrenal fatigue (or more appropriately, HPA-axis dysfunction) happens, leaving you feeling tired, wired and exhausted.
It’s all very well knowing whether you have high or low cortisol, but an important part of this process is understanding why it’s happening—and what you can do about it.
Insomnia, tiredness, body aches, unexplained weight loss, brain fog, low libido, salt cravings, low-stress intolerance… there are many symptoms associated with adrenal fatigue.
Unlike other tests on the market, our 5-sample test checks for both Cortisol and DHEA to get an even more comprehensive snapshot of your stress-response system.
Not only do we use a gold-standard test and methodology, you can also choose a Plan or Package where our expert practitioners look at your symptoms and health history to give you a bespoke health plan of action.
A path to a better, healthier you.
How does it work?
Turnaround time: 4 weeks from sample receipt at lab (USA)
Technology: Dried urine sample analysis
Unlike many adrenal tests, this test measures cortisol metabolites, as opposed to cortisol alone. This provides a highly accurate result, using an improved marker for total cortisol production.
This test requires four or five dried urine samples taken over two days, in order to analyse the stress response.
This test is useful for anyone who is concerned about their stress response or the function of their HPA-axis.
Please note, the price of this test includes a DHL home collection and shipping to the USA where it is analysed by Precision Analytical. This may take 4-5 working days.
